Painted Man
He normally dresses as a Mona Lisa painting in York, but I caught in winding down after a long day.

I shot all the following photos with the X100s inside York Minster today, and despite the fact nearly all of them are at ISO 6400 they came out great.

A beautiful sunny day in Burnley so I decided to take my X100s into town while I shopped for a few items.

Met some lovely people and took a few photos.  These were the best ones from today.  I still have a lot to learn about street photography.

My red @Pebble Kickstarter edition has arrived.
I ordered this on day one, and it has finally been delivered.  Was it worth the wait?
So far the answer is a definite yes.  I love the look and finish of the red Pebble and notifications are appearing on my Pebble from the Galaxy S4 instantly.
I’ll post a more in depth review of the Pebble in the coming weeks.

Final set of photos from today, some in Hebden Bridge and some back home in Burnley.

The black and white photo I found really interesting as the shadow of the man looks like a chess piece.  Again all with the D800 and 18-35mm G lens.

Morris Dancers certainly livened up the festivities in Hebden Bridge today and made for some great photo opportunities.

I was using the NIkon 18-35mm G lens on the D800 and the only issue I faced was not getting kicked when taking the photos.  Even though it doesn’t look like it, I am only about a foot away from the dancers in some of these shots.

Today my new Nikon 18-35mm G lens arrived and what a beauty it is too.  Very light, small and yet pin sharp.  I can quickly see this becoming my favorite full frame lens.

It has finally warmed up enough in the UK for me to have my summer wheels fitted to the car.  This gave me the perfect opportunity to try and the new lens on the D800.

Today was the birthday of Charlotte Bronte the eldest of the three Bronte sisters.  She lived in Haworth, West Yorkshire so today I took the family out to Haworth to see what was going on.

Surprisingly there wasn’t really any special events to mark the day, but it gave me another opportunity to play with my X100s.

Finally (I promise) some photos from the Wordsworth House National Trust site in Cockermouth.

All indoor shots except the spectacles were taken at ISO 6400.  Again I think the Fuji did an amazing job.

Second set of animal photos from the Wildlife park near Keswick.

Unfortunately the fence was far too dense on the birds, so I couldn’t get rid of it completely.
